2008 Camp 52 Officers New officers for 2008 are, Com. John Hawthorne, Lt. Rob Turner, Adj. Jim Eller, Chaplin Rick Morrell, Historian Tom Smith, Sgt. Arms James Booher.

James Keeling, our immortal hero, on November 8, 1861 fought and defended the railway bridge at Strawberry Plains, Tennessee. His action there that night made him a true Confederate hero, then and now. He was awarded the Confederate medal of Honor, which is at the Confederate Museum in Knoxville, Tennessee. James is buried here in Bristol at the historic East-Hill Cemetery.
